Frequently asked questions
Is the app really free?
Yes. Every tool is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
No. The app has no internet permission at all, so it is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere. All editing happens on your device. See the privacy policy.
The app says it can't find a face
Face detection needs a reasonably clear, front-facing, well-lit face that is large enough in the frame. Try a photo where the face is not heavily turned away, covered, or very small. Very dark or very blurry photos may also fail.
Why are the Body tools greyed out?
Body tools switch on only when the app can detect a body pose — that needs a photo showing more of the person than just the head and shoulders. Use a half- or full-length photo.
Where do my exported photos go?
To your device gallery, in an album called Face & Body Editor. They also appear in the app under My Edits.
Does editing change my original photo?
Never. The app always writes a new file and leaves your original untouched.
What is "Maximum Quality"?
A second export button that saves at the highest quality setting, producing a larger file. It is free, like everything else.
How do I undo a change?
Use the undo and redo arrows at the top of the editor. Each tool also has its own Reset, and Reset all clears every adjustment at once.
Can I change the app's language?
The app is available in English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, French and Arabic, and follows your device language automatically. On Android 13 and newer you can set a language just for this app in Settings → Apps → Face & Body Editor → Language.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual items in My Edits, or clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Everything is local, so that removes it completely. See the data removal page.
Does the app work offline?
Entirely. It never needed a connection in the first place.
